Morcambe Mark Team Visit

Mini Team Visit on Monday 13th February 2012 at Morecambe Mark Lodge.

This visit followed the cancellation of a previous visit and was undertaken to visit the Senior Warden in his own lodge. No less than 25 Acting Officers attended.

The Mini team was there to see the demonstration of Advancement by the officers of the Lodge.
Bro. C. C. Butterfield acted as the candidate for the demonstration which was watched over by Provincial Grand Master and his deputy his Past deputy along with Eight Grand Officers and a Mini Team of Twenty Five Acting Officers along with Visiting brethren and lodge members.

 
 

The first half of the ceremony was conducted by the worshipful Master Bro. Keith Stanley Kemp and he was ably assisted with the second half by W.Bro. Alan Gregory. P.Prov.G.J.D. who delivered some very impressive ritual. The candidate was guided through his advancement by the senior deacon Bro David Malcolm, the working tools were presented by W.Bro. Geoffrey M. Bury. P.G. Stwd in an excellent manner.
The evening was completed with a very friendly festive board. With Sixty Eight brethren packed the dining room and were treated to an exceptionally good meal by the catering staff at Morecambe.

Menu of Cream of Mushroom Soup followed by homemade steak pie chips and mushy peas cheese and biscuits & coffee along with abundance of red wine on the Top table The Lodge charity Steward W.Bro. Ronald R. Gibson. Prov.Std.B. ran the raffle and presented R.W.Bro Peter Connolly with a cheque for £285 to the Mark Provincial fun Day on 7th July 2012. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master concluded the meeting by thanking the lodge for it’s hard work in organizing a thoroughly successful evening.
